President's Message

Dear Friends,
Namaskaram!
I feel blessed and honored to serve as the Founder President of the The Hong Kong Telugu Samakhya which was created as an Opportunity from Necessity, which helped connecting with all Telugu families and other diaspora’s at large in Hong Kong. The main objective or the soul of this organization is “Mana Kosam Manam” meaning “ We are for each other; for ourselves” to stay connected in joyous and hard moments in our lives at this home miles away from home and to actively promote Telugu culture and traditions within the next generation, and provide opportunities for our children to participate and appreciate our ancient culture.
While I am excited for the future of THKTS, I request that our members continue to be proactively involved and be a part of this great journey in spreading the joy of Telugu. We had started our Women’s wing SAKHIYAA in 2022 which is a vibrant wing with multiple talents supporting and empowering each other. Together THKTS has always played a key role in uniting our Telugu Community.
It’s with great pride and satisfaction I can say that our accomplishments over the last two decades are noteworthy and will certainly have long lasting impact and guide our future generations. While serving the Telugu Community we had strived to increase our Membership base, improve our current activities and escalate them with much healthier practices and involve in Community Service in Hong Kong and back home in our Telugu States.
Our THKTS family is growing tremendously every year for the past few years, and I am sure we will continue to flourish together. Once again, our dedicated team and I are deeply honored and excited to give back to Telugu Hong Kongers’s with your continued support from our beloved sponsors and volunteers.

Jai Telugu Talli 🙏
Sincerely,
Jaya Peesapaty
